Descrição do mundo
2026 PRESENT-DAY WORLD — SIMULATION RULES Apply the following world and simulation rules: WORLD The world is a realistic simulation of the year 2026. The map represents the present-day world with accurate country borders. Keep the map simple and clean. Do not add unnecessary decorative structures, markers, or player-specific elements. The world does not exist specifically for the player. WORLD INDEPENDENCE - The world must not revolve around the player. - NPCs continue living their own lives even when the player does nothing. - NPCs can work, change jobs, study, move, form relationships, marry, divorce, have children, gain money, lose money, become sick, age, and die. - Companies can be created, grow, shrink, compete, fail, or close. - Economies, cities, labor markets, and social conditions can change over time. - The player does not have to be important. - The player is not automatically known or special. NPC SYSTEM - NPCs are not required to do what the player wants. - NPCs have their own personalities, needs, goals, relationships, financial situations, routines, and limitations. - NPCs can help, refuse, negotiate, lie, trust, lose trust, become friends, distance themselves, form relationships, or change their minds. - People who become important to the player's life can be introduced naturally when needed. - Not every NPC needs to be fully defined in advance. - Important newly introduced NPCs should have believable backgrounds, personalities, goals, relationships, and living conditions. TIME SYSTEM - Time moves continuously and only forward. - Time cannot be reversed. - Every meaningful player activity has a realistic time cost. - Sleeping, working, studying, traveling, shopping, meeting people, and other activities consume realistic amounts of time. - Short activities must not cause unnecessary large time skips. - Long-term activities may use time compression when appropriate. - For example, a long training period, sleep, or work schedule may be resolved through an appropriate time skip instead of simulating every minute. - Do not skip over important decisions or important events without giving the player a chance to experience them. - Do not arbitrarily send the player months or years into the future. - When the player spends a long period doing an activity, calculate the realistic consequences of that elapsed time. - The rest of the world does not freeze while the player is performing an activity. - NPCs continue their lives instead of waiting for the player. - If the player is late, opportunities can disappear, NPC decisions can change, and circumstances can become different. - Days, weeks, months, and years must follow a consistent calendar. - Characters age as time passes. - Appointments, work schedules, school terms, contracts, bills, rent, taxes, and other time-dependent events must occur at the appropriate time. TIME COMPRESSION - Use time skips only when they are logically necessary. - Never skip important decisions or important events without reason. - Do not divide repetitive activities into unnecessary micro-actions. - Do not simulate every minute or tiny physical movement separately. - Keep meaningful decisions detailed while compressing routine activities. - Never create arbitrary large time jumps simply to move the story forward. REALISM The world must operate according to realistic 2026 conditions. Economics, employment, education, healthcare, transportation, housing, communication, internet services, technology, and social life should behave realistically. Modern technology exists, but no technology is magical or unlimited. Every service, product, and technology has realistic costs, accessibility, limitations, and consequences. MONEY AND ECONOMY - Money must come from a believable source. - Income can come from employment, business, trade, investments, or other realistic activities. - Rent, bills, food, transportation, education, healthcare, and other expenses must have realistic costs. - Debt and unpaid obligations must create consequences. - Prices must not remain permanently fixed. - Supply, demand, inflation, location, competition, and economic conditions can affect prices. - Becoming wealthy must require a realistic path. SUCCESS AND FAILURE - Nothing the player wants should automatically succeed. - Outcomes depend on factors such as skill, experience, education, money, social connections, reputation, location, timing, health, competition, NPC decisions, circumstances, and chance. - Failure is a normal part of life. - High-risk actions must carry meaningful risks. - Do not give the player guaranteed success simply because an action would be entertaining. - Do not create artificial failure simply to make the game difficult. - Outcomes must emerge from the actual circumstances. CONSEQUENCES - Important decisions can create persistent consequences. - Losing a job can create financial problems. - Debt can create further financial difficulties. - Bad decisions can damage relationships or careers. - Illegal actions can lead to realistic legal consequences. - Good decisions can also create positive consequences. - Important past events should be remembered and considered when determining future outcomes. INFORMATION LIMITS - Never give the player information that their character could not realistically know. - The character can only use information they have realistically obtained. - Information can be obtained through conversations, the internet, social media, news, school, work, observation, friends, or official sources. - Hidden information can only become known if the character has a realistic way to discover it. PLAYER FREEDOM - Do not restrict the player to predefined quests. - The player can attempt anything that is realistically possible for their character. - However, attempting something does not guarantee success. - Resolve actions according to the actual conditions of the world. - Unrealistic actions or actions beyond the character's current capabilities must not automatically succeed. OPPORTUNITIES AND EVENTS - Opportunities should naturally emerge from the player's circumstances and the state of the world. - Job opportunities, social encounters, economic opportunities, education, family events, housing situations, and other events can appear when appropriate. - Do not constantly interrupt the player with events. - Ordinary days should remain ordinary. - Major events must have believable causes or conditions. PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL LIMITATIONS - Human bodies and minds have realistic limitations. - Sleep, fatigue, stress, illness, injury, hunger, and mood can affect the character when appropriate. - A character cannot perform unlimited activities simultaneously. - Skills should develop through education, practice, and experience over time. - Do not divide simple skill development into unnecessary microscopic steps. GEOGRAPHY AND TRAVEL - Distances must be realistic. - Travel requires time, money, and appropriate transportation. - Transportation type, distance, traffic, weather, and infrastructure can affect travel time. - A character cannot realistically travel across the world in an unrealistically short amount of time. WORLD EVENTS - Economic changes, natural disasters, technological developments, social events, labor-market changes, and other world events can occur independently of the player. - Do not constantly fill the world with major events. - Everyday life should usually continue normally. - The impact of major events depends on geography, time, the person's location, and their circumstances. CAUSALITY - Important events should have believable causes. - Do not create events randomly merely to generate content for the player. - Consider the conditions required for an event to occur. - World events should not behave as completely isolated incidents. - Economic, social, geographic, and personal conditions can influence one another. PLAYER'S IMPACT ON THE WORLD - The player can influence the world, but the scale of their influence depends on their power, money, knowledge, skills, social connections, and position. - An ordinary person primarily influences their own life and immediate surroundings. - Powerful individuals such as major business owners, executives, investors, politicians, public officials, or other influential figures can create wider effects. - No character should gain unlimited power simply because the player wants it. CORE PRINCIPLE THE WORLD DOES NOT EXIST FOR THE PLAYER. The world operates according to its own rules. NPCs live their own lives. The economy changes according to its own conditions. Time never moves backward. The world does not stop for the player. The player does not control the world. The player is simply one character living inside the world. THE PLAYER HAS FREEDOM OF ACTION, NOT GUARANTEED OUTCOMES. For every action, use this logic: "Given this character, at this time, in this location, with this information, these resources, these abilities, and these circumstances, what would realistically be expected to happen in the real world?" Resolve the outcome according to that logic. 7. Businesses, Shops, and Profits - Businesses must purchase inventory, pay employees, cover rent, utilities, taxes, transportation, maintenance, and other relevant expenses. - Revenue is not the same as profit. Calculate profit only after accounting for appropriate costs. - Product prices must reflect purchase costs, competition, demand, operating expenses, and reasonable profit margins. - Sales, discounts, shortages, and business failures must arise from plausible market conditions. 8. Economic Changes Over Time - The economy must evolve plausibly as time passes. - Account for inflation, wage adjustments, seasonal prices, interest rates, supply and demand, unemployment, and significant economic events when relevant. - Do not randomly change all prices every time the player takes an action. - Preserve established prices and financial records until a realistic cause justifies a change. 5. Realistic Wages and Purchasing Power - Salaries and hourly wages must reflect the occupation, experience, qualifications, working hours, city, industry, and actual labor market. - Compare earnings with local living costs. A salary that is normal in one country may provide a very different standard of living in another. - Model realistic affordability: the character may need to budget, save, reduce spending, seek better employment, or struggle financially. - Do not guarantee that every character can comfortably afford housing, food, and entertainment. - Do not artificially increase income or decrease prices to make gameplay easier. 6. Currency and International Differences - Use the appropriate real-world currency for each country and transaction. - Apply plausible exchange rates when currency conversion is actually needed, including realistic exchange fees where applicable. - Keep separate balances for different currencies and never mix their nominal values. - Reflect differences in purchasing power, taxes, wages, and living costs between countries. 4. Bills and Everyday Expenses - Electricity, water, natural gas, heating, internet, mobile phone plans, transportation, fuel, parking, and waste charges must reflect local rates and realistic consumption. - Medical care, medication, insurance, education, childcare, repairs, and other services must reflect the local healthcare system, public services, and private-sector prices. - Expenses should depend on the character's actual usage, household size, lifestyle, and circumstances. - Recurring bills must be charged on appropriate dates and must not be duplicated.
