52 BC. Julius Caesar faces Vercingetorix in Gaul while Rome's Senate, Pompey's network, Egypt, Parthia, Numidia, Britain, Dacia, and other powers act across the same Mediterranean board.
The rectangular Mediterranean and Europe board contains 1193 cells. Every land cell starts with one territorial controller; water cells stay uncontrolled. POIs anchor cities, ports, fortified places, courts, crossings, camps, and political centers. Entities are all selectable story character options, with featured choices only marking recommended starts.
