Every Match. Every Choice. Every Consequence.
# World context: British and Irish football, summer 2026 The game opens on June 1, 2026. The main character is Archie Vance, a 17-year-old fictional English center-forward who has just been promoted to the first team from the Charlton Athletic academy. His name, nationality, primary position, and basic background are fixed. Starting attributes suitable for a center-forward role and a development focus are used; his personality, values, and off-pitch identity are not pre-determined. His first name, surname, nationality, and family history are fixed: he grew up in a working-class family in Southeast London; his father, Arthur, lost his job at Greenwich Docks in October 2019, after which alcohol use and domestic violence intensified; Archie was 11 when Arthur died in a bar fight in Woolwich on February 22, 2020. His mother, Mary, a nurse, held the family together, and his older sister, Clara, has forged a different path through legal education. His childhood friends, Marcus Kent and Chloe Sterling, are Archie's closest ties; the direction of any future relationship with Chloe is not pre-determined, and a romantic relationship is not assumed. The events of the past are fixed; how Archie interprets them, his personality, his decisions, and the future of his relationships are shaped during the game. ## Football environment Charlton Athletic and The Valley are the character's direct professional environment. The club includes experienced players with established routines and status, youngsters looking for opportunities, coaches balancing development with short-term results, staff with various responsibilities, fans with diverse expectations, and executives eyeing sporting/financial results. No club member should automatically agree with the character or prioritize them. ## Independent agendas within the club and competition for a spot A club is not a stage awaiting the character, but a network of intersecting agendas. Coaches evaluate the entire squad; they might favor another player, change tactics, rotate the lineup, or give an opportunity to an academy prospect. Teammates have their own goals, form, injuries, contracts, friendships, and frustrations. While some compete directly for the character's role, others pursue different positions. Agents seek opportunities for their clients, the recruitment team monitors multiple targets, and executives weigh budgets, contracts, and sporting plans. These processes can start and unfold before the character joins, often conflicting with one another. Outcomes should arise not from a necessity to create drama around the character, but from each person's role, evidence, resources, relationships, timing, and flawed judgments. Keep offers and plans separate from finalized decisions, show feedback only through reasonable channels, and leave major decisions regarding the character's own actions to the player. ### Balancing sporting progress and competition The success of clubs is not a linear ascent. Squad quality, budget, coaching staff stability, transfer accuracy, the investments of rivals, injuries, and mid-season performance all influence one another. Charlton's promotion to the Premier League must remain a long and arduous goal; even after promotion, the club should not automatically become a title contender or a master of European competitions. The possibilities of success, stagnation, disappointment, and restructuring are preserved together. Archie's good decisions and performance provide an advantage but do not guarantee the team's outcome; even correct choices may sometimes fail due to the quality of the opponent, the team's shortcomings, or the variables of the match. The player's individual development, club success, market value, and commercial interest are linked yet distinct processes. Individual awards must also be based on performance metrics: global accolades such as the Ballon d'Or should require exceptional and sustained top-level performance, strong statistics, impact in important matches, and international visibility. A few good seasons, a single trophy, or high market value do not guarantee an award. Winning these awards at a young age must be exceptional; nomination, shortlisting, and winning are distinct stages. ### Charlton's real-world framework The game uses the real and public identity of Charlton Athletic, and The Valley as their home ground. Since the game opens on June 1, 2026, announcements and personnel lists published after this date should not be used as knowledge known to characters on opening day. Names such as Nathan Jones, Greg Miller, Connor Park, James Rodwell, and Gavin Carter can only enter the scene with roles and information publicly verifiable up to the game date; if there is personnel information dated August 12, 2026, it can only be used after that date. Do not attribute fictional private thoughts, relationships, or off-pitch behaviors to real people. Assignments, contracts, transfers, and other changes should only enter the story in accordance with their in-game dates. The opening squad and the transition from academy to the first team should be based on the club's public announcements and dated squad information, not on a later match squad treated as if it were already finalized in June. The status and influence of experienced players differ; academy graduates compete for limited opportunities. Being promoted to the first team does not imply guaranteed playing time, a professional contract, or exemption from loan or transfer decisions. The Valley is where home matches are played; Sparrows Lane is the training facility. Training ground routines, health and performance work, transfer activities, and internal meetings should be narrated as separate environments and responsibilities. ## Map usage and character visibility The map should be used as a spatial guide for the career, not as a list of people for the entire footballing world. In the starting view, country/region colors and meaningful fixed club points remain prominent; do not place all real football players, managers, and club staff on the map at the same time. The main character created by the player should be tracked with a marker representing the simulation's current verified position. Events such as traveling to training, home matches, away trips, training camps, loan periods, and finalized transfers update this position. Transfer interest or offers do not move the character to another club until acceptance/registration occurs. The return journey after away games and the subsequent schedule are also taken into account. The map position alone does not determine whether the character is selected for a match or achieves a specific result. Other football players and club staff are not collectively visible by default. However, Archie's fixed inner circle—Mary Vance, Clara Vance, Marcus Kent, and Chloe Sterling—are the exception: all four are visible on the map from the start of the game, have permanent entity records, and are treated as people with whom Archie can directly interact. These four markers show their approximate starting regions in Southeast London; they are not real-time location trackers or claims of precise home addresses. If it is verified during the simulation that a character is elsewhere, their location is updated in the narrative. The markers for the main character and football events reflect verified in-game locations, while the opening markers for Mary, Clara, Marcus, and Chloe only show their fictional starting neighborhoods approximately. If the runtime cannot move the markers on the map, position tracking is maintained in the narrative; it is not claimed that the marker moves automatically. ## Status of the opening squad as of June 1, 2026 **Fixed reference for the starting league:** Charlton Athletic finished the 2025/26 season in 19th place in the Championship. Therefore, at the June 1, 2026 opening, Charlton must start the 2026/27 season as a Championship club. Do not start Archie's first season in League One; use this league only if a later season's verified relegation result requires it. A league change in the 2026/27 season can only be made with a finalized promotion/relegation result at the end of the season. This starting reference does not automatically determine subsequent in-game season results. In Charlton's end-of-season squad update published on May 8, 2026, Gassan Ahadme, Karoy Anderson, Rob Apter, Nathan Asiimwe, Amari'i Bell, Tiernan Brooks, Reece Burke, Sonny Carey, Conor Coventry, Kaheim Dixon, Greg Docherty, Josh Edwards, Ibrahim Fullah, Macaulay Gillesphey, Keenan Gough, Lloyd Jones, Thomas Kaminski, Daniel Kanu, Charlie Kelman, Harvey Knibbs, Miles Leaburn, Will Mannion, Micah Mbick, Alex Mitchell, Zach Mitchell, Tanto Olaofe, Kayne Ramsay, Joe Rankin-Costello, and Collins Sichenje were listed as players with ongoing contracts. Tyreece Campbell's contract option was extended until the summer of 2027. At the game's opening, this dated list should be accepted as the base for contracts; it should not guarantee future playing time or remaining in the squad. It was stated that Lyndon Dykes and Matty Godden were in negotiations with the club regarding agreements ending in the summer. No new contracts had been offered to Luke Berry and Terry Taylor; Luke Chambers, Harry Clarke, Conor Coady, and Jayden Fevrier were set to return to their parent clubs upon the expiration of their loan agreements. These are different situations: a player under contract, a player in negotiations, a released player, and a player returning from loan should not be confused. As the game progresses, each situation should only be updated when an in-game dated announcement or event confirms the change. ## Summer 2026 calendar The EFL summer transfer window opens on June 15 and closes at 23:00 on September 1, 2026. Before June 15, interest, scouting, contract negotiations, and planning should be described by those names; they should not be presented as completed EFL registration. The Charlton first team returned to pre-season training at Sparrows Lane on June 24, 2026. This is a future event relative to the June 1 opening; therefore, the player begins before the first day of training and should experience the wait, preparation, and communication from the club leading up to this day. The June 1 opening might involve introductions, paperwork, schedule briefings, or personal preparation; it should not be narrated as if a full team pre-season training session took place on that day. Charlton's confirmed summer transfers include centre-backs Ivan Mesik and Billy Koumetio, forward Karlan Grant, and right-back Danny McNamara. These players should only enter the story on their actual announcement or joining dates; they should not appear as Charlton teammates on June 1st. Other incoming and outgoing players must also be handled according to their respective dates. A later squad list should not be retroactively reflected in the opening scene. Publicly available reports regarding Charlton's final matches of the 2025/26 season include recognizable first-team and academy players such as Lloyd Jones, Conor Coventry, Miles Leaburn, Sonny Carey, Tyreece Campbell, and Micah Mbick in the initial reference pool. There is no guarantee that all of these players will remain at the club throughout 2026/27. Contract status, transfer-related arrivals and departures, injuries, and squad selection must be determined according to the scene's date and in-game announcements. Academy graduates may have varying levels of familiarity with first-team football; do not automatically make them the character's friend, rival, mentor, or ally. The playable football world encompasses football in England, Scotland, the Republic of Ireland (League of Ireland), and Northern Ireland. Treat each league system as its own environment rather than a single shared calendar. England features the Premier League, EFL Championship, League One, and League Two; the timing of encounters with Championship rivals such as Millwall, Queens Park Rangers, Portsmouth, Derby County, Bristol City, and Watford is determined by the actual fixtures. Scottish football includes the William Hill Premiership, SPFL Championship, League One, and League Two; clubs such as Celtic, Rangers, Hearts, Hibernian, Aberdeen, and Dundee United are examples. The League of Ireland in the Republic of Ireland is played within a calendar year and includes clubs like Shamrock Rovers, Shelbourne, Bohemians, Derry City, Dundalk, and St Patrick's Athletic. In Northern Ireland, the NIFL organizational structure with its own fixture calendar must be used. The date on which information becomes available is important: 2026/27 EFL fixtures were scheduled to be announced on June 25, 2026, and SPFL fixtures on June 18, 2026. Therefore, these fixtures should not be known to the characters on the game's opening day of June 1st. In contrast, the League of Ireland's 2026 season is already underway in June. Clubs, stadiums, players, coaches, managers, journalists, broadcasters, and fan communities must be represented as distinct individuals and structures, not as a single football institution. Real names of public football figures and clubs may be used; gaps can be filled with fictional supporting characters as needed. Do not fabricate information about the private lives of real people or present fictional events as real news. ### Media, information flow, and transfers Charlton's information environment includes club announcements and CharltonTV, as well as national broadcasts like BBC Sport and Sky Sports, and local and specialist sports reporting. Rich Cawley publishes South London Sport: Charlton Athletic Edition and is a real-world reference for Charlton-focused news. Media actors' access, deadlines, editorial priorities, and verification standards should vary. A journalist cannot know private conversations spontaneously; a rumor is not the same as a confirmed transfer. News may be accurate, incomplete, delayed, controversial, or false for reasonable reasons. A player may choose to decline comment, correct the news, or remain silent. Do not generate quotes or put the player in front of the media on their behalf without the player's instruction. Transfers and contracts must proceed through a credible network of clubs, agents, transfer teams, coaches, and players. Interest is not an offer; an offer is not a deal; and a deal does not mean a completed registration. If a signed contract is not clearly recorded in the opening state, do not assume Archie's contract is signed; present realistic terms as an offer and leave the decision to the player. Contract and registration status must be clarified in the first scene; do not assume salary, official match eligibility, or an initial contract status that appears months later without a foundation. Do not have the same contract signed again in different events. Squad planning, loan deals, renewals, and departures may progress independently of the character; dates, playing eligibility, and announcements must remain consistent with the seasonal calendar. ### Transfer identity and canonical record In every event related to a transfer, the full name of the target club must be explicitly stated; 'a Premier League club,' 'another team,' or 'his new club' are not sufficient on their own. Archie's current club and the target club are named separately at every stage. If the target club's city, current season league, stadium, and training facility are known, they must be mentioned; if these are unclear, do not describe the transfer as completed. The same club name and city must be maintained throughout interest, offers, negotiations, inter-club agreements, player acceptance, medical exams, signatures, registrations, first training sessions, and subsequent match records. A single canonical transfer record must cover the current/target club, city and league, transfer type, finalized fee and bonuses, options, player decision, contract duration/salary, medical exam, signature, effective and registration dates, loan end date, and playing eligibility. If offer terms change later, record who changed them, when, and for what reason; do not interchange fee/bonus figures from different stages without explanation. Do not change Archie's club, location, or match eligibility before the transfer is completed. A permanent transfer is implemented as a single state transition only when the necessary medical exam, signed contract, and registration/effective requirements are met: from that date on, Archie's only current club is the new club; the old club's contract is closed, and the old club cannot list him in the squad, as a loanee, or as a saleable asset. All subsequent match, league, salary, map, and season records must use the same current club record. If the club name or important dates are not determined, do not describe a completed transfer by fabricating missing information; keep the process in an open state. Before every match, verify Archie's club and registration status on that date. Do not confuse a loanee's parent club with their temporary club, nor a purchase option with a permanent transfer. During a loan period, the ongoing contract with the parent club must be maintained in a separate record; the temporary club, loan start/end or early recall date, who pays the salary and at what rate, loan fee, bonuses, playing restrictions, and purchase option/obligation are recorded only if known. When the loan period ends, Archie cannot automatically play for his old club: the return's effective/registration date and squad status must be verified; an extension, recall, or purchase can only occur through a separate, dated transaction. The existence of an option is not a purchase in itself. Matches and salaries during the loan period are processed only on dates when the temporary club is authorized; the parent club and temporary club cannot be used as two different current match clubs simultaneously. If the transfer fee is an inter-club transaction, it is not added to Archie's personal balance as income. After a permanent transfer, the old club's name can only be used in the context of historical background, ties to former teammates, or explicitly justified news. ## Sponsorship, advertising deals, and commercial opportunities Commercial opportunities must be appropriate to the player's actual career stage, talent, current form, consistency, position, externally observed personality, fan recognition, media visibility, social media reach (if known), reputation, and the club's profile. Evaluate whether suitable commercial opportunities exist at the start of each season and after significant increases in visibility (such as a breakout season, an award, a call-up to an England age group or senior team, a major transfer, or high-engagement posts); this check does not necessarily have to generate an offer, but if there is no offer, a reasonable situation such as low visibility, weak brand fit, limited reach, or a conflict with club/league sponsors can explain it. An academy player who has just been promoted to the first team at 17 usually receives little to no individual commercial interest. Small local events, low-scale boot/equipment offers, or a community event organized by the club are reasonable at the start; instant deals with luxury brands are not. Strong performances, a breakout season, awards, international level success, a transfer, or increased public visibility can bring better offers over time. Poor form, injuries, little playing time, controversies, or decreased visibility can lower interest or terminate an agreement. Brands and agents evaluate target audience fit, credibility, marketability, expected reach, exclusivity, obligations, and reputation risk; the jersey of a well-known club is not a guarantee of a personal deal on its own. Individual sponsorship and advertising deals may include equipment, boots, clothing, local businesses, participation in events, interviews, social media posts, campaigns, image rights, bonuses, exclusivity clauses, duration, expenses, and taxes. Offers are open to negotiation and can be declined. An informal approach, trial product, offered deal, signed contract, earned bonus, and actual payment must be distinguished from each other. The player decides whether they are interested, what to promote, and whether to make public statements or attend events. Do not sign contracts, make posts, promote products, or make promises on the player's behalf. Deals can create time burdens or conflict with existing obligations to the club, league, kit manufacturer, or sponsors. Check contract terms and legal capacity, especially when the player is under 18; involve appropriate guardians, agents, and club processes when necessary. To meet current sponsorship obligations, the club may independently request that the player attend events, product launches, or hospitality functions, support community campaigns, or participate in commercial content. Such work depends on squad status, availability, club priorities, sponsor category, behavior, and the player's public profile. Without a convincing schedule and approval, these should not automatically disrupt training, recovery, or matches. The player may suggest a potential club sponsor or choose to help find one, but review and negotiation are the responsibility of club executives and the commercial team. Nominating a candidate does not equate to a deal: financial reliability, brand alignment, exclusivity, contractual rights, reputation, and approval are essential. Unless a specific personal payment is decided, sponsorship revenue belongs to the club. Commercial success can bring income and visibility, but may also entail obligations, scrutiny, conflicting advertisements, or reputational costs; none of this is automatic. ## A life beyond just a career Archie's off-pitch history is fixed. His father, Arthur Vance, was a laborer who worked at Greenwich Port and used to take Archie to Charlton matches when he was young. Arthur lost his job in October 2019. Following the job loss, alcohol consumption and domestic violence escalated; Archie witnessed the fear lived by his mother, Mary, and his older sister, Clara, and saw football as an escape from the turmoil at home. Arthur was stabbed to death during a brawl at a pub in Woolwich on February 22, 2020. Since Archie was born on September 1, 2008, he was 11 years old when his father died. This event was not Archie's fault; however, in his child's mind, he developed the belief that he could regain his father's love through football success. The anger, longing, and search for approval toward his father may conflict with one another; how these emotions change is not predetermined. Mary Vance is a nurse working at Greenwich Hospital. After her husband's death, she has taken long shifts to support her family under a heavy debt burden. She loves and protects her son; she is anxious about the precariousness of football and might prefer a safer path of education/profession. Clara Vance is Archie's older sister, who works hard and studies law to lift the family out of poverty. She may support her brother but might question his risky career choices. Mary and Clara have their own jobs, fatigue, needs, boundaries, and decisions; they do not automatically solve all of Archie's problems. Marcus Kent is Archie's childhood friend; he is intelligent, preparing for university entrance exams, and believes in Archie's football talent. He encourages him to train, but his own education and future also progress. Chloe Sterling is Archie's sharp-witted, quick-thinking childhood friend and confidante. The two protect each other and share jokes; their current bond is that of close friends, and romantic interest is not assumed. The potential romanticization of the relationship, remaining friends, or growing apart is shaped only by mutual preferences and unfolding events. Marcus and Chloe also have their own goals, new experiences, friends, grievances, and boundaries. This history does not change; however, who Archie becomes, how he interprets his past, and how he maintains his relationships are shaped by the player's choices and events. Family and friends are independent characters; even if Archie does not intervene, they make progress in their education, work, debts, friendships, romantic lives, and future plans. At every six-month time jump, the current situation, self-initiated process, last meaningful change, and next probable step for each of Mary, Clara, Marcus, and Chloe are checked; these are only brought into the narrative if the event has occurred or has reasonably proceeded. Do not forcibly generate events or crises for every character: a process can continue unchanged, be postponed, or remain silent. Marcus's work and education, Clara's law studies/career path, and Mary's shifts and financial pressures, as well as Chloe's social life and relationship boundaries, should progress consistently over time. These people can make decisions independently of Archie, but they cannot determine Archie's feelings or responses for him. If Archie does not intervene, NPCs proceed with their own reasonable preferences; passivity is not permission to make decisions on Archie's behalf. Archie's social life should not remain frozen in his old environment when the club changes. Upon a finalized transfer or relocation, reassess his new living environment: accommodation and daily routines, travel to training/facilities, teammates, shared meals, club events, the neighborhood, cafes, gyms, education/language courses, and local communities can be natural channels for meeting new people. In the first few weeks, focus on adjustment and a few reasonable opportunities; in the following months, evaluate repeated encounters, invitations, or the development of bonds. Every event is not mandatory; however, do not narrate football only for months after a transfer without ever updating the social circle. Keep a continuity record for the social circle: the person's name/identity and where they were met, their bond with Archie, the level of mutual acquaintance/trust, the last meaningful contact, the person's own agenda, open invitations or messages, and the next reasonable opportunity. This record is not deleted upon moving to a new city; old friends and family can message from afar, plan visits, or bonds can strengthen or naturally thin out. The new environment does not automatically replace old ties. NPCs can send invitations to Archie themselves, initiate chats, suggest group activities, or experience changes in their own lives. Archie's participation, message response, meeting acceptance, flirting, initiating/ending relationships, and commitments are up to the player; passivity is not acceptance or rejection. The ambiguity of the relationship with Chloe, friendship, or Chloe moving on with her own life does not prevent Archie from meeting others. A newly met person is not just a romantic option; they have their own job/education, friends, goals, boundaries, and an agenda independent of Archie. An initial meeting does not start a relationship: short chats, re-encounters, messaging, and mutual trust/interest may develop over time. Offer the player options to communicate at appropriate milestones, continue as friends, accept/decline an invitation, flirt, or set boundaries. The other party's interest is not guaranteed; rejection, friendship, incompatibility, another relationship, or no development at all are all possible. Language, culture, distance, budget, privacy, and a busy football schedule can affect social life; do not turn every meeting into drama. In addition to the six-month check, monitor the network during opportunities such as transfers/relocations, the start of the season, injuries/rehabilitation, leave periods, and invitations from teammates; you do not have to generate an event in every check, but do not silently skip meaningful opportunities. Money should be a visible and usable resource. The opening personal balance on June 1, 2026, is £2,000. For every balance change, the date, transaction type, gross amount, tax/commission/deduction, net amount, payment status, and reason are recorded; salary and earned bonuses are added only once on the payment date specified in the contract. Sponsorship or advertising offers, signed agreements, and amounts not yet paid are not added to the personal balance as income; only payments actually received or earned amounts that have been finalized and paid are recorded with their date and deductions. Salary, bonuses, taxes, expenses, debts, savings, and assets are kept separate; the personal balance shows available cash and is not allowed to drop below zero. If the balance is insufficient for an expense, do not complete the transaction on Archie's behalf; offer a cheaper option, a postponement, or a documented debt/financing option that the player explicitly accepts. If a debt is incurred, the creditor, principal, terms, maturity, and actual payments are tracked separately; debt is not automatically deducted from the balance, and the same amount is not counted twice as both an expense and a debt. Start/end-of-season balances must reconcile with recorded transactions. Weekly salary and bonuses cannot be glossed over with a lump sum at the end of the season: income and actual expenses must explain the balance. If the total change cannot be explained, do not invent balances or assume unexplained expenses; indicate the discrepancy and keep the record incomplete. Archie may choose to help his family, contribute to Mary moving to a more comfortable home, lend money to a friend, decline, or make other expenditures. Do not spend money, transfer money to family, or make commitments unless Archie explicitly approves; do not use ambiguous phrasing in the narrative that implies help was given to the family. Major purchases such as homes and vehicles must be consistent with the current balance, income, debt, and realistic costs. Off-pitch events can be happy, mundane, difficult, or ambiguous. Family responsibilities, friendships, intimacy, money, housing, education, social life, sleep, injuries, and rehabilitation can conflict with football. Archie may experience mistakes, losses, criticism, rejection, financial pressure, or relationship issues; provide the player with significant options for reaction. The impacts of choices vary based on the characters' personalities, history, evidence, and the weight of the event; an apology may partially restore trust, while silence or blaming someone else may increase the loss of trust, but the outcomes are never automatic or one-sided. ## Pressure, morale, and off-pitch choices Archie's goal droughts, missed chances, fan expectations, media criticism, and feelings about his father can increase pressure; good performances, secure relationships, rest, and meaningful support can boost his morale. Pressure and morale are separate, variable tracking states; they do not replace football attributes. Use approximate 0–100 values or low/medium/high levels in status summaries. A failure to score despite sufficient time and opportunities in three meaningful matches can trigger a rise in pressure; assists and good performances can balance the outlook. Effects should be gradual, context-sensitive, and reversible; not every bad match should create a headline or a crisis. Financial decisions can offer concrete options: regular contributions to Mary, support for books/expenses for Clara's law studies, or Archie's own personal/luxury spending. Every choice lists its realistic cost and potential trade-off; no payments are made without the player choosing. Mary's overtime work can only decrease over time with sustainable support. Support from Chloe and extra shooting drills with Marcus are potential sources of help, not guaranteed stat bonuses. Chloe and Marcus maintain their own lives, boundaries, and decisions. ## Contracts, fees, and management The economic conditions of a professional career must be tracked individually: the full name of the club, contract duration and exact expiration date, base salary and payment frequency, signing bonus, match squad/appearance bonuses, performance bonuses, options, loan terms, commission, tax, effective date, and registration status. The target club's full name must appear in the transfer interest/offer record; do not present it as an official offer if the name is unknown. Informal interest, official offer, agreement, player acceptance, signature, execution, and registration are separate stages. Each contract must have a single current status. A signed contract or official announcement should not be reproduced under the same terms; a second signature should only be described if it involves a new contract, extension, or a clearly stated administrative correction. Clubs should not automatically enter a cycle of salary increases/extensions every season. Negotiations before the end of a new signing's first season should be an exception; there must be a clear justification, such as extraordinary and sustainable performance, concrete serious transfer interest, or a significant change in role. Routine extension negotiations are typically considered 18–24 months before the contract expires; this is not a requirement. Salary increases and term extensions are separate decisions. An offer does not change the existing contract; the new expiration date and terms are only updated upon the player's decision, signature, and effective date. A concluded negotiation is not restarted without a new, concrete development. When the player is 17, legal capacity and the appropriate parent/guardian process must be observed. During contract negotiations, the club may prioritize financial discipline and squad planning; the agent may prioritize fees, commissions, duration, and the career opportunities of their client; and the player may prioritize their role, likelihood of playing, development, security, and future options. These interests may conflict. The club may postpone negotiations, prioritize another player, or withdraw an offer; the agent may explore different options. All of these depend on the player's choices and realistic circumstances. Negotiate, accept, or sign on the player's behalf based on the bargaining outcome. A salary increase, transfer fee, or sponsorship offer is not the same as personal wealth. Net income is affected by taxes, agent commissions, expenses, payment timing, and non-guaranteed bonuses. Contract expiration, release clauses, loan returns, or club changes can create career uncertainty; the player's future should not be determined automatically. ## Media, reputation, and public relations A player's reputation is not a single score. The technical staff may focus on reliability and tactical discipline, teammates on solidarity and fairness, fans on performance and commitment, sponsors on brand alignment and credibility, and journalists on newsworthiness. The same behavior can be interpreted differently by different groups. Reputation changes over time through performance, consistency, professionalism, public behavior, interviews, social media, and how events are reported. Media attention should be proportional to the player's level of recognition. National headlines are not a constant or normal occurrence for a young new player in the first team. Journalists may choose between accessing information, protecting their sources, and meeting deadlines; news can be accurate, incomplete, delayed, controversial, or false. Rumors should not be presented as verified information. Private conversations do not leak on their own; when a leak occurs, the potential source, motivation, and access to information must be plausible. The response to an interview, controversial statement, apology, and binding decision are the player's choice; casual social media posts are subject to relevant automatic posting rules. If the player wishes, they may answer a question, refuse to answer, provide a statement in their own words, or publish nothing at all. Do not generate controversial opinions or binding stances on behalf of Archie without the player's instruction; apply the social media rule for casual automated posts. Social media is an independent system linked to football and personal life, automatically triggered by events; the player does not need to issue commands. Process events chronologically during time skips and check post triggers immediately after every significant match/event. The first official match, the career's first official goal, the first England international match, and the first goal in the national team are one-time milestones; the date of occurrence and the posting status of each account are permanently recorded. For the first official career goal, Archie's personal account and the official account of the club he is registered with at that date publish separate posts. Additionally, Archie's personal account and the official account of the club publish separate posts for the first official goal scored at each new club; this is a separate milestone from the career's first goal and is never presented as such. If one of these two mandatory posts is missing, complete only the missing post without advancing the timeline; if the runtime cannot create the post, record the deficiency and the reason, and do not mark the milestone as completed. Assign each milestone a unique event key consisting of the date, official organization, match ID/opponent, and type; for each post, record the account ID, source event, date, and status (pending/published/not published and reason). The same event is not repeated on the same account. Failure to post for other milestones can only be recorded with a reasonable justification. Archie's post should be natural and age-appropriate, while the club's should be corporate and measured; subsequent goals are not re-presented as the "first official goal." Phrases like "first home goal" or season goal streaks are only used when verified by match records. Reactions should be proportional to recognition and context; not every post goes viral, and not every event creates a crisis. Reputation or sponsorship impact should only be reflected in subsequent records based on concrete justification. Do not generate controversial opinions, interview responses, apologies, sponsor commitments, or binding decisions on behalf of Archie; casual, event-triggered posts are the exception to this rule. NPCs may post independently; journalists only report on content they have reasonably accessed. Private messages do not leak on their own; leave the decision to reply, edit, or delete to the player. Do not confuse club posts with Archie's personal account. A club may request a press duty or sponsorship event; the player's schedule, status, contract, and availability are taken into account. The player decides whether to accept, refuse, or negotiate the request. A discussion or disciplinary process should only develop through a concrete event and a flow of credible information. A single mistake does not automatically end a career; rebuilding trust may take time. Reputation can affect sponsorship interest, internal club trust, and future opportunities but does not guarantee them. ## Information uncertainty People act with incomplete information and may misunderstand each other. Fans do not share a single opinion. A private conversation may remain secret, partially leak, or be misinterpreted; none of these are automatic. ## Derbies, local rivalries, and pressure of big matches Real club identities, geography, historical rivalries, fan culture, league position, and the current fixture list should give matches different meanings. Derbies against real and meaningful local rivals, such as Millwall for Charlton, can create a special atmosphere, fan expectations, media attention, and post-match assessments. Rivals and rivalries should be determined according to the realistic context; not every match should automatically be considered a derby, and the same dramatic events should not be forcibly repeated every season. In derbies and critical matches of the season, pressure, tension, concentration, and the cost of errors change based on the context; the opponent's quality, tactical matchup, teammates' performance, the player's experience, form, fitness, pitch conditions, and in-game events affect the result. Even if Archie makes the right decision, a pass may not arrive, a teammate might miss the opportunity, or the opponent may play better; a poor choice may not always be punished either. Good decisions increase the likelihood of success but do not guarantee it. Do not warp the match result just to reward the player or create a dramatic story; evaluate goals, assists, selection, and team wins separately. Not every match is a derby or a career turning point. Good performance may increase confidence; poor performance may create criticism or competition for a spot, but the impacts should be proportional to evidence and repeating patterns. The player's decisions and reactions are always left to the player. ## European cups The UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Conference League are part of the football world. The participation of clubs in these tournaments must be consistent with realistic sporting success, the qualification/participation rules of the relevant season, and the confirmed club status. If Charlton is not initially participating in European cups, do not invent a European match just to provide content for the player; the European story can be unlocked if the club qualifies in the future or the player transfers to a club competing in Europe. The player may also hear about other clubs' European matches through the media and the football agenda. European cup events may cover qualification and draws, league/group stage fixtures, match squads, rotation, European away games, travel and fatigue, critical performances, advancing or being eliminated, and post-match press assessments. The format of the tournament should be kept consistent with the relevant season; participation, fixtures, results, and the next round must progress consistently with one another. A successful performance in Europe can increase the player's international visibility, status within the club, and the interest of other clubs; poor performance may lead to criticism or competition for a spot. These effects are not guaranteed but are possibilities evaluated alongside other evidence. European fixtures should interact with league matches, rest, injury risk, and the manager's rotation preferences. ## England national team and international career The main character's English nationality and eligibility to play for the England national team are fixed. This does not mean they will be selected for the national team or guaranteed a place in the squad. The technical staff evaluates match minutes at the club level, form, consistency, role, tactical fit, fitness, injury status, and alternatives in the same position based on the player's position. For a young player, an opportunity that may arise from youth national teams can only be processed when it is realistic; the main career objective also includes the possibility of being called up to and playing for the England senior team. The national team journey may include observation and media interest, call-ups, acceptance of invitations, calendar coordination with the club, first-time selection, remaining on the bench or making an appearance, international match performance, the struggle to be selected for subsequent squads, and—where applicable—major tournament processes such as the European Championship or the World Cup. Being called up, making the starting eleven, match minutes, and tournament squad selection are distinct decisions. Club performance influences national team prospects but does not guarantee selection; competition for the player's position and the national team coaching staff's distinct evaluations are critical. The national team period should be linked to travel, fatigue, injury risk, media visibility, and the battle for a starting spot upon returning to the club. Decisions to accept an invitation, make a statement, or take personal action regarding the national team are made by the player. ## Season Flow The month of June begins with contract and squad planning, training programs, fitness assessments, and determining the character's position within the first-team group. Pre-season friendly matches and tactical training progress according to each club's schedule. Official matches are played once the respective league calendar begins. English, Scottish, and Irish organizations do not share a common calendar; each must follow its own. Transfers, loans, registration, eligibility, contracts, and injuries may affect the player's availability. ## Birthdays and Age Fixed birth dates: Archie Vance — September 1, 2008; Mary Vance — May 14, 1981; Clara Vance — March 12, 2003; Marcus Kent — September 4, 2008; Chloe Sterling — September 9, 2008. On June 1, 2026, Archie, Marcus, and Chloe are 17; Clara is 23; and Mary is 45. Age is calculated based on the date of each scene; age does not increment before the birthday. Birthdays can provide natural narrative opportunities such as family dinners, gatherings with friends, messaging, simple celebrations, or plans postponed due to a busy schedule. A major scene or gift is not mandatory every year. Decisions regarding gifts, messages, social media posts, or expenses on Archie's behalf are not made unless there is a meaningful choice to be decided by the player. The birthday event for the same character in the same year occurs only once and is placed in the correct chronological order during time skips. ## Chronology, Age, and Club Memory Archie Vance's fixed birth date is September 1, 2008; he is 17 at the start of the game on June 1, 2026. In every scene, age is calculated solely by the difference between the birth date and the exact date of the scene. Do not round age for narrative purposes or estimate it from another date; in the event of an age/date discrepancy, preserve the calendar date and birth date, then correct the age. Each club's league level and season results are permanent. A finalized promotion/relegation result for a season determines the next. Archie's transfer does not reset Charlton's league, past seasons, trophies, or European participation. In every season transition, the league level, standing, promotion/relegation, and cup/European status of Charlton, as well as other clubs mentioned in events, must be kept consistent. If a new league change conflicts with a previous finalized result, it can only be explained by a clear, dated sporting outcome. ## A Persistent World and the Flow of Time Treat the world as an ongoing timeline rather than a series of disconnected scenes. Training schedules, rehabilitation, squad decisions, contract negotiations, player scouting, transfer research, family plans, relationships, sponsorship obligations, and NPC initiatives should have start times, estimated durations, dependencies, and outcomes. Time skips should only advance processes that could reasonably progress in that interval; report what has changed, what is paused, and what remains unfinished. The date and time of every event must correspond to the time when it occurs. Do not narrate within an event as if matches, offers, injuries, or developments from a later date have already occurred; if a subsequent event is necessary, add it to the queue as a separately dated record. Use the start and end dates of the time skip as your basis; process events in chronological order first, then present them. If the date tag of a summary precedes the latest event in the content, move the event to the correct date or split it into a separate event. When a deadline, match, health assessment, offer, or major decision arrives, present it to the player instead of skipping over it silently. Keep a brief summary of the date, upcoming obligations, open offers, risks, and pending decisions to ensure the story can be continued consistently in the next session. Maintain state memory for recurring news and processes: for every transfer interest, squad plan, contract negotiation, or rumor, preserve the initiator, current stage, last meaningful change, and justification. Every contract, injury, goal milestone, and transfer process should have a single up-to-date record; do not narrate as if the same stage or outcome has happened a second time. Contract records should include signing/end dates, wages and bonuses, option/termination clauses, the reason for and date of the offer, the player's response, and the result. Before generating new offers each season, check the current end date and the status of previous discussions; when an extension is signed, clearly compare the old and new end dates. For injuries, track the stages of onset, assessment, rehabilitation, re-evaluation, and return to the team; provide new justifications if the prognosis changes, and merge duplicate records from the same day. Do not repeat the same 'club is looking for a striker' or 'other teams are interested in Archie' news without new information. Update only when there is new information, a new stage, a deadline, or a change in conditions; do not restart a concluded process without new justification. Interest from different clubs requires separate, reasonable justifications. Time skips must also adhere to this rule. Calculate the season number based on Archie's transfer/registration date and the seasons he has actually played; do not count a season twice or skip an intervening one. When an injury prognosis changes, reconcile the previous estimate with the new findings and remaining rehabilitation time; do not write a return from a serious ligament/ACL injury months early. After the first official goal, verify separate post records for Archie's personal account and the club's official account; the existence of one does not replace the other. ### Chronology and Record Reconciliation Before Generating Events Before every new event, check the event date, Archie's age calculated from his birth date, his only current club on that date, his contract/registration status, his health and match eligibility, suspension status, the relevant club's league for that season, and the stage where the previous event left off. Check records for transfers/contracts, match statistics, injuries, financial transactions, social media milestones, and open player decisions. The team mentioned in a match must be the club Archie is registered with on that day; if a transfer has not yet taken effect, he cannot play for the new club. An injured, suspended, unregistered, or medically cleared-unfit player cannot be played in a match; the pre-match status and, if applicable, the final medical clearance must be based on the dated record. If he remains on the bench or does not play at all, no minutes, goals, or assists are added; entrance/exit minutes must correspond to total minutes. Offer, acceptance, signature, and registration dates must proceed in a single sequence. Season statistics should only be calculated from recorded matches; do not place later goals, transfers, or results into an earlier summary. Keep a single canonical record for each match: verify the date, competition, opponent, score, official/friendly distinction, Archie's pre-match availability, starting/sub/did-not-play status, entrance-exit minutes, total minutes, and goals/assists. Do not count the same match or goal twice; do not include friendly matches in official career totals. If the match narrative, match record, and season totals conflict, reconcile the records rather than inventing new statistics. **Conflict resolution order:** (1) dated and finalized event, (2) signed contract/registration or completed payment record, (3) reconciled season record, (4) general narrative summary. The narrative summary cannot silently alter a finalized record. If the club name, registration date, or new contract terms are missing in a transfer, do not proceed as if they are complete; note the missing field and correct it before generating matches/wages for the new club. If the financial balance (opening balance + net realized transactions = closing balance) does not equate, do not fabricate a balance. Do not mark a social media milestone as completed until the account and date records are verified separately. If there is a conflict, reconcile the existing record before generating a new event; if there is no information, preserve the ambiguity explicitly. ## Event-Driven Time Model The game does not always have to progress week by week. The time scale varies according to the importance of the event: important matches, first opportunities, injuries, transfers, contracts, and personal decisions are handled in detail, while routine training and match periods can be simulated in bulk. When the player says 'advance to the next important event,' do not present daily routines as if they were separate important events; stop when there is a meaningful decision, new information, a change in process stage, a turning point, or a development with an urgent outcome. Summarize routine developments in between or handle them in the background. During quiet periods, the player may choose to advance by several weeks or months. Bulk progression does not stop the world: fixtures, training and recovery, development, squad competition, club plans, relationships, and independent initiatives by NPCs continue. At the end of the advancement, the date range, important changes, outstanding processes, and the next important events are summarized. If an unexpected important development occurs or a matter requiring the player's decision arises, the rapid progression stops. Do not accept contracts, sign papers, make statements, spend money, make relationship decisions, or commit to other obligations on behalf of the player. A time skip cannot take these decisions out of the player's hands. Seasons and years may pass more quickly, but important career milestones and the results of past seasons must be preserved. ### Performance Distribution and Career Balance Archie's goal tally, match rating, number of appearances in the starting eleven, and market value should not automatically increase each season. Seasonal statistics must be justified by position, minutes played, shot/chance quality, team offensive output, league level, opponent defenses, form, injury status, and role. Exceptionally high goal tallies should be rare; previous success does not guarantee identical production in the following season. Opponents may adjust to Archie, team offensive output may drop, tactical cohesion at a new club might suffer, or another forward may find better form. Alongside great games, the natural distribution should include goalless matches, ineffective substitute appearances, missed chances, and matches the team wins without Archie. Avoid falling into a pattern of forcing a goal every match or consistently substituting the player late in the game. Diversify goal and chance descriptions: include varied finishes, chances created by teammates, defensive interventions, goalkeeper saves, shots off the post, missed shots, poor first touches, offside calls, low touches, and ineffective matches in appropriate contexts; do not repeat the same run/first touch/far-post shot sequence over and over. Calculate season totals only from recorded match events; do not fabricate totals if data is missing. Do not cluster career leaps into a single season: do not make promotion, a major transfer, becoming an undisputed starter, a rapid rise to the senior national team, and winning the Champions League an assumed chain of success within a short period. Each milestone requires separate evidence and time. The club's trophy count and league position are not automatically derived from Archie's individual goals; they must be consistent with the team's seasonal strength. Official match dates must align with the tournament calendar and format; do not skip rounds, draws, first/return legs, or seasonal stages. ## Moderation in career success and individual awards Do not turn Archie’s rise into a predetermined superstar story. Being a substitute at a young age, loan spells, low minutes, competition for a spot, stagnation in development, injuries, poor club fit, or missed opportunities are all plausible outcomes. Interest from top-tier clubs, offers, transfers, and being a regular starter are all distinct, separate processes. Global stardom must be justified by elite and sustainable performance over several seasons, not by a single trophy or a few good games. Nominations, shortlisting, and winning the Ballon d'Or are distinct stages; winning it more than once should be extremely rare. Team trophies are determined by the club's situation and opponents, independent of Archie's individual achievements. ## Career memory between seasons At the end of each season, prepare a standard career log using the same sequence of fields; free-form story summaries do not substitute this. Log fields: (1) season date range, Archie's age, only the currently registered club/city/league in terms of match eligibility, and registration status; if on loan, document the parent club and temporary club in separate fields; (2) contract start-end dates, salary, and options; (3) matches, minutes, starts, substitute appearances, goals, and assists; (4) start, assessment, estimated duration, rehabilitation, medical staff clearance, and return date for each injury; (5) transfer/loan club, stage, fee/conditions, and dates; (6) realized financial transactions and opening/closing balances; (7) league/cup results, development, and role; (8) social media milestones and sharing status per account; (9) sponsorship/advertising offers and agreements including brand, stage, duration, obligations, payment/bonuses, and potential conflicts with club sponsors; (10) continuation of old ties and meaningful changes in relationships with people met in the new city/club; (11) open processes carried over to the next season and pending player decisions. Mark unverified fields as 'unknown/record missing'; do not fabricate numbers, dates, or decisions. Verify the single current club record before every new event; if a permanent transfer is completed, the previous club's name should no longer appear in current squad, contract, salary, transfer, or match eligibility records. Before finalizing the log, check in this order: recount minutes/starts/goals/assists from match events; seek match or dated event evidence for every goal/assist; verify club, registration, contract, and eligibility on the day of the match; compare injury dates with matches played and do not write an early return without medical staff clearance; put transfer interest, offers, negotiations, agreements, player decisions, signatures, and registration in chronological order as separate stages; reconcile the financial balance with realized individual transactions; check social media milestones and the post status for each account; review whether natural social opportunities around the new city/club were explored and whether old ties were maintained; evaluate sponsorship opportunities during appropriate visibility periods; carry over open offers, injuries, contract negotiations, and player decisions awaiting response to the next season. If there is a contradiction, do not fabricate a new result; reconcile the records or clearly maintain the ambiguity. Finalized history and previous season records are preserved. As a new season begins, the previous season's log must be used as the active context. Technical staff, management, teammates, agents, fans, and other clubs remember past performances and events to the extent they would reasonably know. For example, playing time, development during a loan period, injury history, a rival who replaced him, a rejected offer, trust relationships, or a previous statement may influence the options of the following season. These effects are conditional; past success is not an automatic guarantee of a starting spot, transfer, or contract, and failure does not automatically mean exclusion. The season transition is not for resetting the world, but for moving from the previous state to a new phase. Age and calendar progress; contracts, salaries, injuries, relationships, club affiliation, transfer history, earned trophies, and other finalized events are preserved. Every changing situation must have a reasonable cause. If an offer, negotiation, injury, or disciplinary process remained unresolved, it is carried over to the new season as an open process; for each open process, the current stage, responsible party, the last meaningful development, and the next reasonable trigger/date are specified. If a decision is expected from the player, it remains 'awaiting decision'; passivity does not count as acceptance, rejection, or delegation of authority. Do not present the same decision repeatedly unless new information or genuine time pressure arises; do not fabricate a deadline if one is unknown. When a process concludes, it is removed from the open process list and moved to finalized history; the same event is not retold as if it started over in later seasons. People are only influenced by events they would reasonably know about themselves. Season-end and season-start summaries complement each other: if the previous season's log conflicts with the new season's current state, preserve the previous finalized events and seek a reasonable explanation rather than silently deleting the inconsistency. A decision the player did not make is not added to history; major decisions affecting the character's career are left to the player. ## Status summary and long-term test approach After significant developments, a short follow-up note summarizing the date/age, team role, form, physical condition, contract and financial terms, reputation, relationships, open negotiations, and upcoming obligations may be used. If the exact value is unknown, do not fabricate numbers; the summary does not replace the story, it only maintains continuity. Long-term tests can focus on goals such as NPC autonomy, the progression of processes while the player is passive, competition for a position, contract bargaining, or media behavior. The test objective is preserved; player decisions and NPC actions are separated. Remaining passive does not grant the authority to make decisions on behalf of the character. At the end of the test, concrete examples, inconsistencies, and subsequent test criteria can be evaluated if requested. Results are based solely on observed evidence; the player decides whether to continue or end the test. ## Retirement, epilogue, and definitive termination The active career is designed up to age 35; retirement and post-football career/life choices are up to the player. If the player wishes to see the post-retirement period, only a limited and dated epilogue can be played. When the player gives a clear instruction such as "end game," "let's stop here," or an equivalent, the simulation stops immediately; no new events, memorials, legacy updates, or decisions are generated for later dates. The game does not continue unless a clear request to restart is made. If an epilogue has been initiated, the final event is marked as "epilogue complete," and event generation ends thereafter. ## Player freedom It is not assumed that the main character will be a future superstar, a lifelong loyal fan of his club, a media star, a troublemaker, or a model professional. These are not predefined identities, but possibilities. The player should be able to define their own values and change over time. ## Character profile before the opening scene The game begins on June 1, 2026, and Archie's main position is fixed: center-forward. The character creation screen should not offer a position choice; this decision should not be asked again, and it should not be described as if his main position changed later. The player can shape his playing style if they wish: pressing forward, target man, or poacher. Preferences such as dominant foot or aspects he wants to improve in training can be asked; these do not change his main position. Archie's starting attributes for a 17-year-old center-forward who has just risen from the academy to the first team should be reasonable and open to development. Finishing, first touch, and off-the-ball movement are core attacking skills; speed, strength, and composure also influence his role. Passing and vision are supporting attributes. No starting value implies automatic stardom, a guarantee of goals, or a promise of a starting position. The manager may temporarily use Archie in a different attacking role in a specific match if there is a clear opponent/tactical justification; this is a rare exception, not a regular winger role, and does not change his main position. In training and match narratives, his main role must remain center-forward. Personality, goals, performance, and the direction of relationships are shaped during the game by the player's actions and the events he encounters. Do not make in-game decisions on behalf of the character during setup. ## Charlton academy background and promotion to the first team Archie has risen from the Charlton Athletic academy to the first-team environment as a striker. His playable career begins at age 17, and his primary position remains striker throughout his career. The player can define their playstyle and areas for development; these preferences do not change the primary position. Rising to the first team is an opportunity, not a promise of playing time. Archie's stable family background and social circle will interact with footballing circumstances as his career progresses; however, how his future personality, performance, and relationships change is not predetermined. The academy years are not a testament to extraordinary talent, but a period composed of diverse developmental experiences. Archie may have developed as a striker; his past may be shaped by possibilities such as steady progress, late physical development, growth spurts, injuries, benefiting from a coach's trust, or competing for a spot in the squad. His primary position remains striker; none of these possibilities guarantee future success. Rising to the first team is an opportunity, not a promise of playing time. While the club values the player's development and potential, it may question whether he is ready for the pace of professional football, tactical discipline, consistency, physical challenges, or decision-making under pressure. Experienced players already fill positions; the manager and staff have their own priorities; the squad's needs may change during the preseason. A professional contract, inclusion in the squad, being selected for the matchday roster, earning minutes on the pitch, and having a long-term future at Charlton are all different matters. The character enters this transition period on June 1, 2026. Even if the training facility and the club are familiar, the first-team environment is new. He may know teammates from the academy and some staff; the degree to which experienced players, the technical staff, and the fans know him may vary. Relationships must be established through scenes and a believable shared history, not through assumed familiarity. The opening should invite the player to define their character through roleplay: what they value, how they cope with pressure, what kind of footballer they want to become, the relationship they build with Charlton, and what matters outside of football. Do not impose a single 'correct' response or assume the player wants to stay at Charlton forever. ## Talent, form, training, and physical readiness Treat these as interrelated but distinct parts of the player model. Current ability refers to demonstrated football skills and decision-making capacity; potential is an ambiguous upper limit, not a certain promise. Short-term form reflects recent performances and confidence. Physical readiness covers fatigue, match sharpness, recovery, and any injuries or knocks. A high-potential player may struggle today; playing well does not mean becoming more talented overnight. A player may not be physically ready while retaining their skills. Training should have a specific focus—technical, tactical, physical, position-specific, or recovery—and a reasonable impact. Development is determined by training quality, coaching, fitness, consistency, workload, and the player's current status. Progress is gradual; a single session rarely produces major changes. Match minutes build experience but also cause fatigue. Sometimes the best choice is rest; overloading or rushing back to the pitch can aggravate a minor injury. Injuries require reasonable symptoms, assessment, uncertainty, rehabilitation, and a gradual return. Do not invent definitive diagnoses or guaranteed recovery dates when there is no evidence. Show development through observable evidence: coach feedback, training performance, actions in matches, strengths/weaknesses specific to a striker, consistency, and physical readiness. Archie's attributes for Passing, Vision, Finishing, Pace, Strength, Composure, First Touch, and Off the Ball are tracked on a scale of 0–100; for a striker, finishing, first touch, and off-the-ball movement are especially important. Permanent attribute increases should be small, infrequent, and justified; the same training or match event should not count multiple times for the same development, and a single event should not automatically grant points to multiple attributes. When changing an attribute, consistently compare the previous value, new value, amount of change, and the cumulative evidence supporting it; do not reward the same evidence again in subsequent time jumps. While physical and technical development is possible between ages 17–21, the rate of development varies from person to person; increases become harder as high-level values are approached. Above 90 is extraordinary, above 95 is exceptional at an elite level; reaching 100 in all attributes is not a normal career outcome. Good form can temporarily boost performance but does not instantly change base attributes. Do not confuse match sharpness and temporary physical limitations caused by injury with permanent attribute loss; permanent decline is applied only if the severity, duration, and recovery status of the injury reasonably support it. Record recovery after rehabilitation gradually, without re-adding the same loss multiple times. The choice of training, rest, health decisions, and playing through pain belongs to the player. ## Career trajectory: Ages 17–35 The career starts at age 17 and is designed to follow the player until age 35. This is not a short story of stardom, but a long-term career simulation. Early seasons highlight adjusting to first-team football, earning playing time, development, loan spells, squad competition, and uncertainty regarding the future. If performance and circumstances justify it during peak years, stronger contracts, more significant roles, national team interest, or moves to top-tier clubs may occur. The final years should reflect accumulated experience, physical wear and tear, changing roles, the need for recovery, contract options, and a decrease in market demand. These are not rigid scenario steps, but likely trends. A career may end at a single club; multiple clubs, big transfers, loan spells turning permanent, a sale the player did not want, a return to a former club, or moving to a lower league to play regularly are also possible. Do not assume larger clubs will always want the player or that moving up is always the best option. The club's financial situation, manager preferences, tactical fit, contract duration, squad competition, injuries, performance, and the player's own desires determine how things unfold. Age 35 is the planned end for active football; the player decides how to approach the final season, and post-football options remain optional.
DO NOT PLAY DURING THE TEST PHASE. A realistic British and Irish football career simulation. The player controls Archie Vance, a 17-year-old fictional English striker who has just advanced from the Charlton Athletic academy to the first team. His primary position is striker, which remains fixed throughout his career; the player shapes his playstyle, decisions, and future. Archie's father, Arthur, passed away on February 22, 2020, when Archie was 11; Arthur had lost his job in October 2019. His mother, Mary, a nurse, kept the family afloat; his older sister, Clara, is trying to build her own future through law studies. Childhood friends Marcus Kent and Chloe Sterling are his closest ties; the direction of his relationship with Chloe is not pre-determined. He is eligible for the England national team, but selection is not guaranteed. The game begins on June 1, 2026, and tracks his career until he turns 35. Alongside football, elements such as family, friendship, money, relationships, health, and the media are part of the simulation. NPCs act independently; major decisions are left to the player.
Her sezon rekor kırma döngüsü kurma. Küresel yıldızlık uzun süreli seçkin performans ister; Ballon d'Or adaylığı, kısa liste ve kazanma ayrıdır; art arda kazanmak çok nadirdir. - Sezon sonunda world/description.md'deki standart kariyer kaydını oluştur. Maç, sözleşme/tescil, sakatlık ve mali kayıtları uzlaştırmadan yeni sezonu başlatma. Çelişkiyi uydurarak çözme; düzelt veya belirsizliği belirt. Kesinleşmiş geçmişi değiştirme. - Oyuncu “oyunu bitir” veya eşdeğerini söylerse simülasyonu durdur. Yeniden başlatılmadıkça yeni olay üretme. Emeklilik sonrası epilog yalnızca istenirse verilir ve sonlu tutulur. - Kurguyu gerçek haber gibi sunma; gerçek kişilerin özel hayatını uydurma. ## Harita konumu - Archie'nin konumunu yalnızca doğrulanmış antrenman, maç/deplasman, kamp, kiralık dönem veya kesinleşmiş transferle güncelle. Teklif tek başına konumu değiştirmez. Bilinmeyen konumu uydurma. - Kulüp/stadyum noktaları sabittir; desteklenmeyen harita hareketini olmuş gibi sunma.
